Abort the Mission

The concept of abortion is not a novel one...

Pyramids of Evil

Circa 1400 BC, Egypt was a world power with the pharaoh at the time being Thutmose IV (aka Thutmosis IV).

His reign was rather quiet: he calmed an uprising in Nubia that threatened regional stability and married a Mitannian princess which improved foreign relations.

His most significant claim to fame is rarely discussed by modern media. This pharaoh - and potentially his successor - was one of the recorded first advocates of abortion.

“My greatest inspiration was Thutmose IV believe it or not…”

At the time, Israelites were slaves in Egypt and under harsh conditions. Pharaoh abused them further, passing a law that forced Hebrew mid-wives to kill newborn boys on the birth stool. In other words, the nurses were mandated by law to abort Hebrew baby boys as their mothers were giving birth. No different than a late stage abortion today, the technology just changed.

The question I want to hone in on is why? Surely, Thutmose wasn’t a proponent of a woman’s right to make her own choices about her body and reproductive health? What is his motive in killing baby boys before they leave the womb?

Think…

Keyser Soze tried to tell you

Here’s why he did it:

History is like a musical artist: it often repeats itself, and when it doesn’t, it rhymes.

Shortly after Pharaoh mandated abortion for the sons of Israelites, God’s people, one of the most important prophets of the Old Testament was born: Moses.

Pharaoh was just one of the devil’s instruments. Moses was supposed to die under Pharaoh’s law, which is, by no means, a coincidence. The devil tries to kill some of God’s most beloved prophets and priests before they even come out of their mother’s womb. This, my friends, is the true function of an abortion. Maybe one day we’ll talk about Saint Padre Pio and the poor mother that aborted a future pope.

But for now, back to Egypt. Moses’s mother, a strong Hebrew woman, gives birth to her son and hides him for a few months. After she could no longer hide Moses, she put him in a papyrus basket on the bank of the Nile River. Pharaoh’s daughter found him, and seeing how beautiful he was, kept him and raised him. We know how the rest of the story goes.

Moses > thutmoses

But it wasn’t just the Egyptians; the concept of child sacrifice and abortion is ancient, spanning thousands of years and existing in a multiplicity of cultures and civilizations.

The earliest known practice of child sacrifice is in Mesopotamia, in which a variety of archaeological findings points to the practice existing in the region.

In Ur, which is modern day Iraq, graves with sacrificed children have been found alongside those of royals, which historians agree indicate some ritual significance.

Native American tribes such as the Incas, Aztecs, and Mayans often sacrificed children to their gods (demons) to ensure good harvests, fertility, stability of their tribes, avert disaster, and other illegitimate reasons. The Aztecs specifically believed the tears of dying children was the impetus for rain for their crops.

While modern day liberals don’t believe (I hope) the abortions that they dearly cherish will ensure good fortune for themselves or the country, their devotion to the homicide of unborn humans begs the question: why is the killing of children, either born or unborn, a phenomenon that has existed throughout time and across different cultures? Could it be there is a spiritual realm to this world that we can’t see and that we are not necessarily fighting people but spiritual entities?

Culture of Death

Abortion in “modern history” can be traced back to the Soviet Union. In 1920, under Vladimir Lenin, Soviet Russia became the first modern country to legalize abortion. Given their vast influence over communist regimes at the time, other commie countries around the world followed suit. Funnily enough, the Soviets decided to ban abortion just 12 years later after plummeting birth rates caused concern amongst political leaders. The number of recorded abortions in 1935 was 1.9 million.

the face of feminism

For comparison, the United States aborts nearly 1 million babies per year as of 2023.

Globally, the number of aborted babies totals more than 70 million per year.

The abortion issue is not a women’s rights issue; it’s a human rights issue. Calling the obliteration of the most innocent beings terms like “reproductive healthcare” is simply a 1984 tactic in which a lie is repeated over and over until the masses become demoralized enough to regard it as the truth.

More specifically, 61% of unintended pregnancies result in abortion. So obviously, the problem is unbundling sexual relations from familial love. People want to have sex for selfish reasons, and in the process, they reject their partner (even in marriage, abortion is a rejection of the partner), and they reject the new human God has blessed them with. The worst part, is that abortion is also a rejection of self, by killing your own offspring, you deny yourself the precious gift of participating in God’s creative act. So not only is abortion homicide, but it is also suicide.

Let’s temporarily shift gears from the intellectual Christian doctrine to a more tangible real life example. I personally know of a woman who committed abortion and afterwards became a serial killer. She’s currently doing life in prison, where she is in the process of repenting and following Christ. Her story as a criminal, according to her, does not start with killing another grown human being. It starts with killing the fetus in her womb, which, according to her testimony, led her into a dark demonic possession.

Our anonymous prisoner is not an anomaly. The stories of countless women worldwide are ironically silenced in the abortion debate that weaponizes women. There are many women who have been damaged deeply by committing an abortion. There are many women who shed tears daily decades after they committed an abortion. There are many women who are going through a healing process and deeply regret their decision. Abortion is the number one threat to a woman’s holistic health. Fertility rates in women with abortions are on the floor. Let me speak as plainly as possible: abortion hurts women the most.

While I admittedly place the blame on liberals, conservatives share a large piece of the blame pie as well. The RNC and Republican legislative body in general has no backbone and seems to cave on every important social issue, especially abortion. While the Dobbs case (overturning of Roe v Wade) was a massive win for social conservatism, both Republican Congressmen and the current presidential ticket seem to be giving up, with Trump claiming that his administration will be great for women’s reproductive health. What that actually means it to be determined.

While being a pro-life advocate seems to be contradicting the ever-relevant Niccoló Machiavelli, as he asserts that “whosoever desires constant success must change his conduct with the times,” one must not underestimate how quickly tides can turn in either direction.

As we approach the election season, I pray that God allows you to see the truth about the spiritual battle taking place in our country, and that we all vote against laws that bring death into our country.

Our country’s mothers need healing, our country’s families need healing, and our country itself needs healing.

God bless America.
