Long Road Away from Home
The dark journey from our Christian society to modern secularism

Change ≠ Progress
In the early 20th century, life was, obviously, vastly different. Most notably, the living standards were considerably lower and we didn’t have the luxurious technologies that we take for granted today like televisions, computers, phones, automatic washing and drying machines, and most importantly, self-driving electric vehicles that can go 0-60 in 2 seconds and simultaneously serve as a mini-movie theatre.

shoutout to the boy
While we’ve economically and technologically progressed, we have undeniably socially regressed. Morally reprehensible actions and behaviors like casual sex, pornography, contraception, abortion, and sodomy were all illegal and were seen as deplorable in the eyes of society.
Fast forward to today and all of the previously listed transgressions have been normalized, if not celebrated.
Over a handful of decades, Americans have pivoted from upholding Christian moral values to taking on libertarian attitudes towards sexual freedom and degeneracy.
The fact that the country has shifted from being 95% Christian in the beginning of the 20th century to just above 60% today, with a majority of those being rather apathetic CINO’s (Christians in name only) obviously plays a massive role.
Despite this gradual shift away from traditional religion, most people still instinctively feel like the values that we espouse today are deeply immoral, as a 2023 Gallup poll states that 54% of people believe that the state of moral values is “poor” and 83% believe they are getting worse over time.
Like mentioned previously, America and Christian morality were deeply intertwined from the nation’s founding, mainly due to Christianity being the historic religion of the West. This connection goes back to the time of the Romans, as despite being early persecutors of the Church, Rome eventually became a Christian civilization with Constantine converting and making it legal, setting the stage for Theodosius I to make it the official religion of the empire in 380 AD.
With Christianity as the moral foundation, actions condemned by the Bible—such as sodomy, bestiality, adultery, and crossdressing—were forbidden, and revolutionary ideas like marriage being between one man and one woman for life were essential to society’s functioning.

Libs after you say marriage = one man & one woman
Furthermore, a supermajority of the Founding Fathers were devout Christians and are most likely rolling in their graves to see the country they built be swept up in modern secularism. And yes, there’s always that one guy that goes “but Jefferson wasn’t Christian!” He is technically right, but although patriots like Jefferson and Madison were deists and were more aligned with the ideas of theistic rationalism, they were at the very least cultural Christians.
This contrasted with deeply religious Founding Fathers like Samuel Adams and John Jay, with the latter being the second president of the American Bible Society.
Despite not making Christianity the official religion of the nation, it is clear that the founders weren’t hardcore secularists that believed in moral relativism that current liberals try to portray them to be. To affirm this, John Adams proclaims that “our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people,” as it is “wholly inadequate for the government of any other.”
If they were to see the current society we live in today, I’m sure they would have aligned with objective morality and natural law in the Constitution rather than the moral relativism and apathy we see today. Robert Bork, the former solicitor general of the US, observed that “the signers of the Declaration of Independence took the moral order they had inherited for granted. It did not occur to them that the document’s rhetorical flourishes might one day become dangerous if that moral order weakened.”

Over time, the concept of freedom has shifted. Liberty, once understood as the freedom to pursue virtue and excellence (positive freedom), has evolved into the ability to do whatever you want “as long as you don’t hurt anyone” (negative freedom). Hedonism was once recognized as a threat to genuine freedom, but today it is often embraced.
This inversion of freedom was ignited in the 1920s, known as the Roaring Twenties, as the country experienced a new level of affluence that hadn’t previously been accomplished. Uncoincidentally, it was a decade filled with decadence that negatively impacted the country morally, as there was a growing sense of complacency and materialism that would abruptly end with the Great Depression in the 1930s.
The president at the time, Calvin Coolidge, saw the degeneracy unfolding and remarked in a July 4th speech in 1926 that “we must not sink into a pagan materialism” and that “we must cultivate the reverence which our fathers had for the things that are holy.”
The trend of religion becoming less important to people as societies grow wealthier and times become easier is not novel in any sense; it is common knowledge that religion is seen as essential when life is difficult and can be perceived as a mere inconvenience when life is easy.
With that historical context in mind, let’s look at exactly how things went downhill so quickly.
Slippery Slope Fallacy Truth
Like mentioned previously, birth control was frowned upon for a while, but became more popular especially after certain Christian sects let down their guards and become proponents of contraceptives.
Anglicanism approved birth control by the 1930s, and by 1950s, most Protestant denominations had followed suit.
This was also around the same time that the emphasis on being “nice and tolerant” rather than upholding the moral values and teachings of Christ, even when they could be inconvenient or potentially “upsetting” to others.
In addition to this, large waves of Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe were immigrating to America and they soon began to assert their dominance in mass media (through the founding of Hollywood especially) and began to promote their differing ideas of morality.
Given that most Jews tend to be agnostic, the moral values that they hold directly contrast the Christian morals that the vast majority of the country held.
This became evident, as movies and TV shows quickly devolved into ubiquitous displays of debauchery in numerous varieties. At the time, it was common knowledge that American Catholics were the last fighting force for morality within TV, as the Hays Motion Picture Production Code was founded with the intent of banning all sexual degeneracy, drug use, and violent crime shown in a positive light from film.
More specifically, it stated that “no picture shall be produced that will lower the moral standards of those who see it. Hence, the sympathy of the audience should never be thrown to the side of crime, wrongdoing, evil, or sin.”
While the founder William H. Hays was Presbyterian, the group was mainly comprised of Catholic leaders and the enforcement and content of the code was primarily Catholic led. Jewish film producers obliged to the code, as they knew that if it wasn’t followed, Catholics would boycott their films and likely make it a dud.
However, it wouldn’t be like this for long, as WWII was about to change everything.
After defeating Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich in 1945, fascism became the new boogeyman for the rest of the world.

the DNC can’t tell the difference
Prominent German sociologist Theodor Adorno, who would later be an important contributor to the poisonous critical theory, authored a book called The Authoritarian Personality that painted traditional sexual morality and the traditional family unit with the father as the leader of the household as examples of “authoritarian tendencies.” His main message was clear: these “tendencies” needed to be destroyed so that fascism could never rise again.
Additionally, the spread of televisions inside homes played a massive role, as within the short span of ten years between 1950 and 1960, the percentage of American households with a TV skyrocketed from 15% to 85%.
At the time, ABC, NBC, and CBS controlled every single channel that was available at a time that was during the height of Operation Mockingbird, a large-scale CIA program that sought to manipulate domestic American news organizations for propaganda purposes.
Most of you aren’t shocked, but for all the newbies here, yes, mainstream media is government propaganda and has been that way for a while.
The role that the CIA played in the media is essential because there was a deliberate push to portray the radical protestors of the sexual revolution in a positive light while those who defended traditional western and Christian culture were painted as the villains.
By this time, the idea of keeping TV clean of any sex, drugs, and excessive violence had been faded away and the Hays code had been rendered useless.
Pushing debauchery through media proved to be successful for the progressives, but nothing proved more effective than the judicial branch of the United States.
Up until this point, explicit pornography had been illegal, but after Supreme Court cases Roth v United States and Miller v California, this previous transgression suddenly became tolerable.
Next, the Griswold v Connecticut case legalized birth control on a federal level, causing numerous scholars to assert that the disconnect of sex from its natural purpose of reproduction on a federal level is dangerous and that once sex loses its moral purpose, moral chaos is not far behind.
In addition, a handful of Supreme Court cases, with Engel v Vitale being the most pertinent, took God out of the classroom by banning prayers in public schools.
Then, you have the infamous case of Roe v Wade that made abortion legal federally and has resulted in hundreds of thousands of children being slaughtered every year before given a chance at life.
Lastly, the relatively recent case of Obergefell v Hodges made the perverted idea of gay marriage become legal on a federal level, which inevitably opened the floodgates for degeneracy of all types to be “tolerated” within our society.
As we can see, the idea of a “slippery slope” is not some type of fallacy, but a real phenomenon that occurs throughout different eras and cultures, and we are no exception.
Once we shift the moral guideline from the pursuit of virtue and the idea of striving to live a perfect life like Christ to doing whatever one feels like as long as it doesn’t harm anyone else, the erosion of our social fabric and decline of our empire is inevitable.

I know what some of you may be wondering: where is the right wing response to this?
Sadly, during this time, conservatism had become primarily focused on fiscal and economic conservatism while putting little effort to uphold the country’s social conservative roots. Instead of pushing back against the clear rot that society was undergoing, most Republican lawmakers were worried about cutting regulations, lowering taxes, and minimizing the deficit.
It’s a tough pill to swallow, but the truth is most Republican Congressmen are frauds. Most either don’t actually care about upholding the country’s paleoconservative roots or are too scared to go against the progressive agenda with full force.
The result of that is a right-wing that is cool with pornography, birth control, gay marriage, transgenderism for adults, gay adoptions, and more. So much for conserving our culture and values.
In the aftermath of taking God out of our society, it has become clear that this was the wrong move.
The list of externalities is a long one and includes many men being addicted to pornography and masturbation, skyrocketing illegitimacy rates, increasing numbers of children growing up without a mother and father, divorce being common, proliferation of birth control that alters women’s hormone levels, increases men’s estrogen levels, and turns the frogs gay (iykyk), increased rates of male suicide due to heightened levels of nihilism and despair, rape rates grown 8 fold since 1960, 63 million abortions since Roe v Wade, young men and women having their bodies brutally mutilated and undergoing irreversible damage in the name of “tolerance and acceptance," children learning about sexuality in elementary school, and more.
When digging further and asking yourself “who really won here?” it becomes clear that the answer is neither men, nor women, nor children. In reality, the only people who won are those who despise the traditional Western values, the family unit and the religion of Christianity. Those who yearned for society to have weak to nonexistent morals to make people more apathetic and easier to control are undeniably winners as well.
Do I say all this portray the idea that America was some type of utopia where everyone acted perfectly because they were Christian? Obviously not; we’ve never been a perfect nation and the country’s past faults are discussed in a never-ending fashion in our current education system and mainstream media. On an individual level, we have been fallen beings since the time of Adam and Eve and are naturally drawn to vice due to our nature. However, the difference between then and now is people knew the tresspasses mentioned previously were objectively wrong and while occasionally falling into them, they strove not to do it again. This was the moral code that held society together and encouraged the pursuit of moral perfection.
The only moral code we have nowadays is the avoidance of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and all the other phobias and ism’s.
The real question is could someone be behind it all? The Deep State? Globalists? Freemasons? CIA? The World Economic Forum? The trifecta of the Bilderberg Group, Trilateral Commission, and Council on Foreign Relations? Jews?
I guess more research has to be done to come to that conclusion. I’ll have the answer for you guys soon.
While we have suffered numerous defeats in the past hundred years or so, things usually operate similar to a swinging pendulum, and I am supremely confident that the pendulum is swinging back. Peak “wokeness” is undeniably behind us and slowly, but surely, will move back to a more traditional and moral society.
Young men have had enough of the BS and are now the most conservative they’ve been in the past 50 years or so.
Simply put, we can’t keep going down this path because it is self-destructing and fundamentally contradictory to our nature, our purpose, and the will of God.
Thanks for reading and until next time.
