The link between a secret meeting in Georgia and the autism epidemic...

Centers for Disease Concoction
For those born within the past 30 years or so, autism has seemed like just another disease that unfortunately happens to some and not others. However, not only is autism completely novel within the past century or so, but diagnosis rates have skyrocketed over the past 60 years.
Between 1960 and now, estimated autism rates have increased from about 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 34.
Not only has autism surged in recent decades, but other neurological diseases like speech delays, ticks, ADD, ADHD, food allergies, and more have gone from extremely rare in the boomer generation to a relatively normal occurrence in millennials and Generation Z.
Throughout the 1990s, there were numerous whispers from the scientific community that childhood vaccines could potentially be playing a factor in the epidemic.
Given that its job is to optimize the health of the nation’s citizens, the CDC ran a few internal studies to put an end to these rumors once and for all. They brought in one of their best “experts” to conduct the studies: Thomas Verstraeten, a well-respected Belgian biostatistician and epidemiologist who worked for the organization at the time.
One of the studies consisted of two different groups: one group of children that received the Hepatitis B vaccine in the first 30 days of their life and those who did not (either received it after the first 30 days or not at all). The results of the study shocked the CDC; the relative risk score that emerged from the study was 11.35.
For reference, a score of 2 usually indicates a casual relationship between the two variables. A similar study was done to analyze the effects of smoking a pack of cigarettes every day for 20 years and rates of lung cancer and that resulted in a score of 10.
At this point, the CDC was panicking. The other studies done showed a similar relationship between childhood vaccinations and autism. For obvious reasons, this could not be let out to the public. At this point, they concluded there was only one option and that was what those in power are exceptionally talented at doing: conspire.

“Discard the evidence immediately”
The Ultimate Cover-Up
The meeting that ensued took place in June of 2000 and was located in a remote farmland adjacent to the Chattahoochee River called Simpsonwood. I’m not too sure why powerful conspirators seem to choose the middle of nowhere Georgia as their prime destinations, (*cough cough* The Fed & Jekyll Island) but I’ll get to the bottom of that some day.
There were a total of 52 attendees that day that consisted of representatives from vaccine manufacturers like GSK (now partially owned by Pfizer), Merck, Wyeth (acquired by Pfizer in 2009), and Aventis Pasteur (now Sanofi), as well as the NIH, CDC, FDA, WHO, and major universities that test vaccines.
This was obviously a highly secretive meeting; no discussing with family members, making photocopies, taking papers from the meetings, etc.
The first day consisted of everyone expressing how shocking the results were. The comments made spanned from Verstraeten simply stating “I was actually stunned by what I saw,” to Richard Johnson, an immunologist and pediatrician from the University of Colorado, (whose grandson had been born earlier that morning) asserting “forgive this comment—I do not want my grandson to get a thimerosal containing vaccine until we know better what is going on.”
I’ll get back to what thimerosal is in a second and why it’s important.
After the first day was over and everyone could express their shock, the next step was conducting a plan to cover it up. Simply put, the study “should not have been done at all” and the group was scared that “the results will be taken by others and will be used in ways beyond the control of this group…the research results have to be handled” (John Clements, vaccine advisor at WHO).
Given the government and its proxies are professionals at burying critical information from the American public, they had a lot of different ways they could have executed this.

The gov’t when it comes to hiding info…
They settled on having the CDC pay the Institute of Medicine to conduct a new study ran by Verstraeten and “whitewash” the risks of thimerosal by manipulating the data. The researchers were plainly told to rule out the chemical’s link to autism in any manner they sought fit.
When conducting the new study, Verstraeten’s original findings were intentionally withheld, as the naive scientists who were not “in the know” were told that the data had been lost and could not be replicated. By the time Verstraeten had published the study in 2003, he had already slipped through the revolving door to work at GSK.
Highest Bidder
A classic corruption story cannot be complete without a few Congressmen selling out his constituents for a dollar or two.
The Senate Majority leader at the time, Bill Frist, deeply cared about the wellbeing of the country’s citizens and was willing to do whatever it took to ensure every American was in good health. However, he also received $873K in contributions from the pharmaceutical industry. But that can’t possibly influence his decision making, can it?
Frist had been working to shield vaccine makers from liability in roughly 4200 lawsuits that had been filed by parents of vaccine-injured children and was attempting to seal all of the government’s vaccine related documents including the Simpsonwood meeting transcripts.
His hard work paid off when he was able to slip the “Eli Lilly Protection Act” into a homeland security bill in 2002 and placed another provision into an anti-terrorism bill that denies compensation to children suffering from vaccine-related brain disorders in 2003. The day after the initial provision, Eli Lilly made sure to leave him a tip, as he received a $10K contribution to his campaign and 5K orders of his new book When Every Moment Counts: What You Need to Know about Bioterrorism from the Senate’s Only Doctor.

Big Pharma & Bill Frist
However, not all Congressmen are well-paid slaves to their corporate overlords; Rep Dan Burton from Indiana, whose grandson was recently diagnosed with autism, led the House Government Reform Committee investigation into the “vaccine question” and concluded in its final report that thimerosal is directly related to the increase in autism diagnoses.
Thimerosal a mercury-based preservative that is used to extend the shelf life of vaccines. The first recorded time thimerosal was added to childhood vaccines was in 1931, and soon after in 1943, the first case of autism was identified and diagnosed.
The chemical was initially developed by Eli Lilly in 1930 and it didn’t take long for the company to realize how toxic it was; it was administered to 22 patients with terminal meningitis and all of them died within weeks of being injected. Somehow, someway, they managed to declare that thimerosal was safe (and effective).
In 1935, another vaccine manufacturer called Pittman Moore called this assertion into question by warning that their claims about its safety “did not check with ours.” Pittman Moore had injected thimerosal-based vaccines to dogs and half of them became terminally ill.
There were several more times tests were done on thimerosal, including a 1977 incident where 10 babies at Toronto hospital died after an antiseptic preserved with thimerosal was dabbed onto their umbilical cords, and all of them evinced the same conclusion: this toxin was not safe by any measure.
Dr. Maurice Hilleman, one of the patriarchs of Merck’s vaccine schedules, made quite the astute observation by proclaiming that thimerosal should be discontinued “especially when used on infants and children” and “the best way to go is to switch to dispensing actual vaccines without adding preservatives [like thimerosal]”. This begs the obvious question: why in the world did these companies continue to use this toxin knowing how dangerous it was?
The answer: money (obviously).

Big Pharma be like…
Using preservatives generally benefits a company’s bottom line by extending the shelf life of a product. More specifically, thimerosal allows pharmaceuticals to package vaccines in large vials that contain multiple doses, which cost roughly half the price as producing smaller, single dose vials.
While the pursuit of profit in and of itself is not immoral in any way, the pursuit of profit at the expense of wellbeing of the populace is obviously where things get tricky.
Asking the some of the largest companies in the world to potentially take a hit to their net income margin to make the country a healthier place is an extremely large and unrealistic ask unfortunately.
Conflicting Visions
In addition to political sell-outs, a classic corruption story obviously has some good ol’ conflicts of interest.
Dr. Sam Katz was the chair of the CDC advisory committee whose main job was to make recommendations on new vaccines. He was an adamant proponent of childhood vaccines, especially the measles vaccine; what he didn’t bother to tell anyone was that he was a paid consultant for a handful of Big Pharma companies and shared the patent on the measles vaccine with Merck.

Sam Katz: Anthony Fauci before Anthony Fauci
Dr. Paul Offit, one of the CDC’s top vaccine advisors, also later admitted that he shared a patent of one of the vaccines he voted to make a marketable product.
After the obvious backlash that ensued, Offit had the hubris and audacity to dismiss the idea that this could potentially serve as a bias in his judgement. He was insistent that this decision was made solely in the interests of the public’s health.
For how could money ever cloud anyone’s judgement?
Rep Burton, like everyone else, was dumbfounded by the conspicuous corruption at the CDC, saying the organization “routinely allows scientists with blatant conflicts of interests to serve on intellectual advisory committees that make recommendations on new vaccines,” as they have “interests in the products and companies for which the are supposed to be providing unbiased oversight.”
You would think that all of the incriminating evidence against the CDC and thimerosal would force them to admit the dangers of the toxin and do an apology tour.
However, a few decades later, and not much has changed. Although the CDC allegedly (heavy emphasis on allegedly) claims childhood vaccines haven’t contained thimerosal since 2001, they still claim that there is “no evidence of harm caused by the low doses of thimerosal in vaccines, except for minor reactions like redness and swelling at the injection site.”
They also claim that “research does not show any link between thimerosal in vaccines and autism,” and that “many well conducted studies have concluded that thimerosal in vaccines does not contribute to the development of autism.” If that’s the case, then why take it out of vaccines in the first place?
Every other health organization echoes these claims, as the Illinois Department of Public Health states “thimerosal has been used safely in vaccines for a long time (since the 1930s) and has a proven track record of being safe.”

stop the cap!
In addition, thimerosal is still is still used in yearly flu vaccines, so the public is still being exposed to this poison.
At the end of the day, the three letter organizations that are supposed to be in charge of our health like the NIH, CDC, and WHO have been doing a horrendous job, as the past few decades have seen the country’s physical and mental health in a steady decline.
Due to this tremendous failure, the real question becomes this: is the lack of performance by our public health officials due to dark malevolence or sheer incompetence?
Let me know what you think.
Thanks for reading and until next time.
